Day 1: Arrival in Accra, Ghana
Welcome to Ghana! Upon arrival at Kotoka International Airport, our friendly tour guide will meet you, assist with your luggage, and transfer you to your hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle. We’ll begin with a scenic tour of Accra, passing by the University of Ghana’s vast campus and stopping at the Accra Mall for a chance to exchange money and enjoy a delicious lunch. After check-in, your guide will give you a briefing about your upcoming adventure.

Day 2: Accra City Tour
Start your day with a hearty breakfast before exploring the heart of Accra. Visit the iconic Independence Square, where Dr. Kwame Nkrumah lit the flame of African liberation in 1961. Wander through the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, visit the National Cultural Centre, and discover the historic James Town, with its famous lighthouse. You’ll also have the chance to learn about the Afro-Brazilian families at the Brazil House. End the day in Teshie Nungua, home to the unique “Fantasy Coffins,” and experience Accra’s vibrant nightlife.

Day 3: Accra to Ho
After breakfast, we journey to Ho in the Volta Region. Enroute, stop at the Shai Hills Forest Reserve to explore ancient caves used by the Krobo people. You may also spot wildlife such as baboons and antelopes. Continue to Akosombo for panoramic views of the Volta Lake and Akosombo Dam. Arrive in Ho by evening and check-in to your hotel.

Day 4: Ho to Nkwanta
Visit the Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary, home to sacred Mona and Patas monkeys, and then explore Wli Waterfalls, the highest in Ghana. Enjoy a scenic hike through Agumatsa Forest before continuing to Nkwanta.

Day 5: Nkwanta to Tamale
On the way to Tamale, visit the Kyabobo National Park and the isolated Shari village, home to the Akyode people. After an enriching cultural experience, continue your journey to Tamale and explore the Leather Market.

Day 6: Tamale to Mole
Explore the surrounding Dagomba Villages and the Red Clay centre. Continue your journey to Mole National Park, one of Ghana's most famous wildlife reserves.

Day 7: Mole National Park
Enjoy an early morning safari to witness the diverse wildlife, including elephants, baboons, and antelopes. Visit Mognori Eco-village to learn about Shea butter production and enjoy a canoe safari along the Mole River.

Day 8: Mole to Kumasi
After breakfast, visit the Larabanga Mosque and make a stop at Kintampo Waterfalls. Continue to Kumasi, the heart of the Ashanti Kingdom.

Day 9: Kumasi
Visit the Manhyia Palace and the National Cultural Center to learn about the Ashanti Kingdom. Explore local craft villages known for their woodcarvings and Kente weaving, where you can buy directly from the artisans.

Day 10: Kumasi to Elmina
Travel to Elmina, stopping at Assin Manso, the burial site of two former slaves. Continue to Elmina Castle, the oldest European structure in Sub-Saharan Africa, and enjoy a tour of the harbor below.

Day 11: Elmina & Kakum
Take a walk through Kakum National Park’s tropical rainforests, where you can explore the Canopy Walkway or embark on a nature walk to discover the area’s flora and fauna. Continue to cape coast to visit the Cape Coast Castle to learn about the region’s slave trade history.

Day 12: Cape Coast to Accra
After breakfast, depart for Accra, stopping in Accra, visit the Art and Craft Centre for souvenirs before heading to the airport for your flight home.
