Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Accra | Shai Hills | Akosombo
After a delicious breakfast, check out of your hotel and embark on your journey to Akosombo in the Eastern Region. Our first stop is the Shai Hills Forest Reserve, where we’ll explore the historic ancestral caves of the Krobo people. Wander through the scenic forest and spot wildlife like antelopes, baboons, and various bird species. After this, we’ll continue to Akosombo, where you can relax with a boat ride on the serene Lake Volta.

Day 2: Akosombo | Tafi Atome | Wli Waterfalls
After breakfast, we’ll visit Tafi Atome, a sanctuary for Mona and Patas monkeys. These sacred creatures are protected by the local community and thrive in the forest. Next, we’ll head to Wli Waterfalls, the highest in Ghana, where you’ll hike through the lush Agumatsa Forest Reserve to reach the stunning 80-foot falls. Return to the resort in the afternoon for some relaxation.

Day 3: Akosombo | Cedi Beads Factory | Accra
After breakfast, we’ll drive back to Accra, stopping at the Cedi Beads Factory to learn about the traditional art of bead-making. Watch as artisans craft beautiful beads, and even try your hand at creating your own. Afterward, we’ll return to Accra, check into your hotel, and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 4: Accra | Departure
Enjoy a relaxing day in Accra to reflect on your journey. You’ll have time to visit local markets for souvenirs or simply unwind before your departure. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
